Toy -
I am hardly a shill for MSFT and have worked closely with novell since before the company had any software products. I know the company, market and installed base quite well.
Of the current 79million NetWare nodes (NetWare 2.x 3.x 4.x 5.x) around the world

What are you talking about? What is a 'node' in your view? There are less than 5 million Netware servers of ALL types in service today. If we start talking about 'users' then the discussion quickly becomes meaningless, since virtually all corporate users supply access to all of their network resources to all users, so the 'user counts' get counted by everybody.

By your reasoning, a company which has 10,000 users accessing 1000 NT servers and one Netware server would give NT and Netware equal market presence. By my reasoning, that scenario would give Netware 1/1000 the presence of NT.
