To DaveMG: A couple of interesting points re the MSFT / Q joint venture. If the Wall Street Journal is accurate, and AT&T plans to join along with Airtouch, could this mean that AT&T is making a move - no matter how small and tentative - toward CDMA and (perhaps) a deemphasis on TDMA? This could be a major straw in the wind. Secondly, if the head of the Q's infrastructure operation is to move to the new entity and take Q staff with him, would seem to indicate that the Q's own infrastructure business has turned the corner - perhaps a sign that it is healthy and money making at last (except for vendor financing). Another possible straw in the wind. Does anyone agree re these possibilities? Chaz PS Of course we will know much more Tues.
