My texas friend - we disagree and that's fine. I view the contract fee that each company has made to be a strong commitment. In addition they invest in their manufacturing plants to make the changes neccessary to make RDRAM. MU was really the only one somewhat hesitant but remember that they to signed and announced Rambus support a year ago almost.
Test equipment is indeed in place - the battle is over who has the best equipment.
CPU vendors: they officially announce that future CPU's will be Rambus-compatible - I never expected any stronger commitment than that. These guys also pay contract fees remember (i.e. commitment).

I think we might get some very positive surprises from Comdex - but that's just a hunch. Probably dip down today to 58-59 then up strong to 63-65 (another hunch)
