Toy - NW6 which, unlike MSFT, will be ready upon the release of the Merced chip NT64 is being developed on the Alpha chip, and will ship before merced is shipped, probably 6 months or so after NT5 ships. A secondary build is run against the merced simulator, to assure that merced will also be supported whenever it is ready. Novell may be missing a bet by not developing a 64 bit product on Alpha, which is, after all, available today. This would give Netware a 64 bit product a lot earlier, possibly ahead of NT64.
