SDRAM-prices when delivered in SIMM-modules (chips on the PCB - ready to install):

32MB: $ 40.00
64MB: $ 75.00
128MB: $ 150.00

deduct $ 1.00 - 1.50 for the PCB and figure that the rest is subject to Royalty of 1.25 - 1.5%. From 99 most PC's will have min. 128MB memory so for each PC with Rambus memory Rambus' royalty would be approx. $ 1.50 - $ 2.00. Lets be veryconservative and say prices for RIMM's are not higher than for SIMM's and that the royalty is only $ 1.00/PC then Rambus will have royalty revenue of $ 1 mill. for each 1 mill of PC's shipped with Rambus memory (assuming average of 128MB per system).
The chip royalty is more like 3% I believe and comes in addition.
