BR, No on the contrary, you see the world through ASND glasses. I've always been a networking bull. I only try to balance your biased positions regarding CSCO. CSCO has been successful in the carrier market and with their switches as well. They don't have themarket share in the ATM switching space that they do in routers, but nonetheless they are force to be reconed with - even in ATM. To say they have no strategy or can't compete there is ridiculous. I think ASND is formidable. They have great products and from what I can see will continue to be a major player in carrier backbones, but so too will CSCO. You and a few others continue to espouse the theory that CSCO doesn't stand a chance in the backbone...this is just flat out wrong. OG
