Ben, sorry, but I don't see how the approach(es) you outline simplifies matters. I'm trying to get away from all the (X-Y+Z)*3*(1/4 or 1/2 or 1 or 2) machinations, to develop a more streamlined/straightforward approach which gets to the same number. I think I've done that, although, to add to the confusion, my earlier post was in error. I'll fix that a bit later. For now, I'm curious why you use the sell signal bottom ($3 in the case of IOM)? Page 24 of Dorsey's book says to use the bottom of the column of Xs which constitutes the buy signal column ($4.25 in the case of IOM). Tx, East
