Their software products are sold as licenses like most. As far as margins, if you want to do a little work, you can get it out of their financial reports. See:

sec.gov

I have used some of their development products and thought they were reasonably good. Unfortunately, I don't see much of a future for SmallTalk. Not that it's a bad language, but they missed their opportunity window. Lousy marketing, IMHO. Didn't take care of their developers. Products priced most small guys out of the picture.

Java is now the development language of choice for many. Plus Java is more than a language, because of the Java Virtual Machine environment and because it's network oriented (specifically designed to work with Internet among other things.) PARQ is shifting to the Java domain, and may be able to salvage their technology that way. But there's a ton of competition, and growing daily. Hard to tell if PARQ will make it.

I don't own any shares now, but may buy 500-1000 just for laughs if the price drops some more.

I hope there's something I said that you will find useful.
