I don't claim to be a marketing expert in the US let alone China, but imho from talking to individuals that sell computers for a living in the US and from what I've read about foreign sales, first time buyers of pc's were snapping up the 200mhz pentiums during the xmas buying season and cyrix was unsuccessful in it's attempt to sell a slower processor in China.
