You seem to have lost perspective of WHY MSFT is being raked over the coals by the DOJ.

Listen...

Its not illegal for a company to have a monopoly marketshare in any one product or service. It is illegal to have a monopoly and then leverage that monopoly to gain control and market penetration in another product area, service, or technology.

To put it another way so that we can be realllll simple....

It is not illegal for MSFT to have a monopoly in the Intel desktop OS market. But when MSFT used their Desktop monopoly to destroy NSCP's clear marketshare lead - that was/is a clearly unfair tactic that only MSFT could have used, and that IS ILLEGAL.

So get your mind around the issue before you try to make smart postings.
