I completely agree, because I believe the Devil to be a creation of man, as unreal as Casper the Ghost, and the Ninja Turtles that walked my neighborhood that night. The children don't pay homage to him, they pay homage to God, by recognizing that the Devil is nothing but make believe, and powerless over them. The Devil and sin is but a costume, and we may take off the costume when it has outlived its purpose, if indeed there was any purpose to it at all.
