all: Please read this Well I heard the csco conference yesterday. There are 4/5 major bids for the core and edge according to chambers. CSCO has confidence that it would gain the edge business, but the core products ATM from CSCO will be in the 2nd half of 1999. Guess what. Who else can win the core business hands down (ascend). Ascend will also compete in the edge. Secondly, they said that the carrier business ISP is very strong. See ascend zoom from here onwards. note: the RFP's are in for the major bids. Regards, Immi
