That is the most concise, clear post that I have ever seen from you, Toy. But you still manage to have an attitude that really aggravates the heck out of me.

Of course the real reason that NOVL interview was so positive is because it was from a marketing guy, not a lawyer. What else could the marketing guy say--the truth: "Yeah, if NDS doesn't make a big hit it is over for us."

The truth is, Toy, and always has been in this business, the vendor with the best product doesn't always win. Remember Banyan Vines? Its directory service was far, far superior to anything Novell had ever dreamed of. But Novell became the "safe choice" for the IT decision makers. That is precisely why Novell will eventually fail in the NOS and directory service game they are playing now. They are not perceived as the safe choice for the long term.

So sell your NOVL, buy MSFT, get your MSE and go with the flow. You are fighting a holy war over something that is NOT a religion.
