Steve, it is isn't what is told the analyst (necessarily)--its the competency of the analyst. An electrical engineer with 20 yrs. experience on the street, meeting eyeball to eyeball with managment 'should be' more competent than you or I in assessing the company's future. Not that the company can't be motivated to delude & deceive. If you can't make a trip to the factory or are incapable or asking an officer pertinent questions, then you might want to rely on the analyst. Their reputation is at stake. E.F. Hutton used to say when they talked people listened. Similarly, when a 'respected' analyst talks some people will listen. And reading a couple years of postings on WSTL, PAIR, and especially AMTX won't hurt either. Hope this helps and that you catch a ride on the way up. sg
