Chi-X, I've seen reviews of the MMX in PC Mag and Windows Mag. Nowhere was there mentioned the MMX being able to duplicate modem functions. I've heard this before, but it sounds dubious. Do you have any specific explanations/sources for your reference? re: >the MMX chip this makes USRX one step closer to being "obsolete."< With all due respect to a CEO, you obviously don't know much if anything about U.S. Robotics or the stock USRX. Are you perchance getting desperate for a company to short? Because USRX is the wrong company to short sell. However, knock yourself out. Just don't say you weren't warned. Dwight
