To Auric Goldfinger –
For approximately 15 years of my professional life, I've worked hard to help individuals better there lives. My goal in this message thread is not to make enemies, but to provide both positive and negative opinions about stocks that I find interesting. Throughout my professional and personal life, I've found open communication to be extremely important.
My posting, #263, apparently appeared to you as a threat, and judging from the personality traits in your many postings throughout the SI site, I'm not surprised that it did. Believe me, I'm not a threat. I simply believe that information available about a company should be fairly disclosed. Granted KCAP is trading at a price based on speculation and possible potential, but so are 75% of the stocks on every exchange. You and I both know that stock book value and market price hardly ever work in conjunction with one another. I can show you thousands of stocks that have increase in market value while their book value has decreased, and even more that have decreased in market value as sales and profits are greatly increasing.
Trust me. If negative information is discovered about KCAP, I will sell my stock (first of course), then post a message on this thread. Hype a stock – that's the company and ZGoodman's job. Shorting stocks – that's dishonest. If individuals and institutions that are willing to take their chances in the stock market, so be it. I'm only responsible for my finances and my opinion. Threaten you – give me a break. Pipsqueak – we all are.
My opinion is that KCAP is a good bet – I've put money on it. |
