Hi Byron, RE>>After talking to my broker,it is common practice for companies to include options as part of a bonus, at years end.

Here is the part of the press release:

"In addition to the 20,000 shares purchased on the open market last week, said Rowland Schaefer, Claire's chairman and chief executive, Dunavant also acquired 45,000 shares early in December through exercise of an option."

He purchased 20,000 shares on the open market!!! It is important we keep our facts separate from conjectures.
