A lie?
I rarely base my investment practices on hype or out-of-date balance sheets. If I did, I'd have to go back to my 9 to 5 job and actually work for a living. Here we have a company that has developed a Web commerce site designed primarily, at the moment, to attract members. From my experience with Internet stocks, I've discovered that volume and attraction are king. Once the volume, or traffic, reaches a certain level, manufacturers and services providers with big bucks start knocking on your door. From my due diligence and research, that is KCAP's plan – and that is my main reason for investing in this stock. If the volume does not occur, then I lose – and it wouldn't be the first time. However, with gains of $247,000 and loses of only $35,500 in my portfolio for just today, I do believe I have a handle on the game. |
