MB,

Congrats. 4th race? Horse sure likes the outside.

Question - I want to buy puts on IBM (the Jan 120's at $1.5.). I'm not as diversified as you recommend, but intend to initiate the first third position generally within your 90/10 guidelines.

Because of the lack of diversification, is it smart to hedge the put position with a call position in a better quality tech issue? If IBM goes, it'll go big, so not to worry on the hedge side, right?

I'm afraid puts during Christmas time is as you say "a mug's" game.

I don't wanna be a mug.

Best,
Doug
