Don, Maybe my data is quite good, but various opinions and ideas are always good to read, so I hope lots of people put their oar in. Sorry I was unclear. With a big market, Iridium and Globalstar can both do well after their initial launches [for 5 years]. But usually, one will be able to expand quicker and more economically than the other [like IBM PCs outgrew Apple]. So Globalstar will get into their second launching and further expansion quicker than Iridium and gradually erode Iridium market share and therefore economies of scale which are important in such a business. Both might be happy for 15 years, depending on how fast the customer bases grow. After 5 years though, it will be very clear which is the better system and new customers will go that way.

There is much more information around than anyone can keep up with, so this forum is good for distilling the main points. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I do my best, as my money is at risk! I worked a lot to get it and I want to keep it, with profits. Best wishes, Maurice
