E, a few points to make:

1) It is true that ABX never JV's when a production decision is made as a rule.
2) I have noticed that some majors have been sharing production costs in Latin America of late.
3) The Lundin's are capable and have raised large production financing over the last decade. (they have failed in some cases as well)
4) This arrangement may force ABX to be less complacent.
5) The past rules may have to change with this deal.
6) This may be one of the unique situations where the junior benefits no matter how it is played out
7) If the property is uneconomical..all bets are off.
