Kerry,

What is your take on the Ancor Shareholder Rights Plan?

I am invested in another company that recently issued one of these things. The interesting part is that their share price was also beaten down and they had a couple of pretty major lawsuits hanging over their heads. Just a couple weeks after they enacted their shareholder rights plan, they won one of the lawsuits, with the strong implication that they will win the second one, a big order came in, and the stock price almost doubled. I'm not trying to draw any firm parallels here, but in hindsight it seems like the management and B.O.D. must have had a pretty good idea that the stock was undervalued, and perhaps that they were going to win the suit. In essence, it was a preemptive strike of sorts.
