"Welcome, if it is in an IRA or 401K, 403B , the 3% in waived."

Unless I missed some Fidelity change, retirement accounts still pay the 3% load on all Select funds and also on a few of Fidelity's non-Select load funds (but the loads on most non-Select Fidelity funds are waived for retirement accounts).

However, both retirement and non-retirement money only pay a load once. I believe once you pay a load with some dollars, those dollars and the dollars earned while in the loaded fund (or even in a non-load fund?) are considered "loaded" and can be switched into another same-load fund without having to pay the load again.

However, if you mix together your loaded and unloaded money it can get hard or impossible to switch the right money into a fund.

I switch my Select money out into a separate money market fund that I only use for loaded money. I probably should use Select Money Market but for some reason I thought it didn't exist anymore so I used Daily Income Trust.

What money market fund do you switchers use ?
