Actually something like a small "paid announcement" or "this person is paid by one or more of the companies he posts about" message that would appear on all of their posts automatically would suit me. It could be something you could choose from your profile or it could be added by SI if someone was proven to be a paid hypster. I think the SEC requires it but since they will only apply a small (in comparison to the payoffs) fine for ignoring them not many hypsters pay attention to them. The little crackdown last week is a step in the right direction though.
