OT: Can you people explain something to me...

How is it that some people's natural reaction when they are way down is not to sell regardless of how crappy the stock is. I've heard things like, "well I've lost so much anyway it doesn't matter" or "it's only a loss when you sell it." Many of these same people also look to sell the stock when they break even.

I just don't get it it.

To be honest with you, if I thought that the upside potential of 3dfx was only 20 I wouldn't own a share. This stock is way to risky for such low returns. I could probably get the same returns with less risk by buying Cisco. My price target is 40 by the middle of next year. If 3dfx attains the #1 OEM position I wouldn't expect less than $100 per share.

Pat

P.S. Ground Zero sucked hard. Those stupid gun turrets slowed the game down considerablly and I hated the monsters that could teleport in other monsters at will.
