I defer to people more knowledgeable than I on technical stuff etc., but having read the Samsung article I have to take issue with your comments of earlier.

I disagree totally with this, read then industry articles, testing equipment is a major issue right now and it is not set up and running...

Mile, there appears to be no barriers in place for Samsung. They sound ready and raring to go in 3 mos. Doesn't sound like they are hemming and hawing over whether to produce RDRAM in '99. Granted, they are clearly making it known to the industry that they want the lion's share of the market, but nonetheless they sound ready to go to me.
