Thanks, Ron. As I mentioned, I have not been able to verify a standard automotive embedded chip Y2k problem. But I have seen numerous articles that list cars in with vcr's, etc. (common household items) that will have problems. Another view is that if claims are made about potential "problems" that, in fact, have no basis, I think there's a risk that people will tend to ignore the items that really do have problems. A credibility issue; which we certainly don't need!
