Please don't erase the canoes and the sprints and the fish and the kids and all of that wonderfulness.

I won't. I also won't pretend that's all there is to it, or that the road to this point hasn't had its rocky bits. That's hardly unique to me; I don't think anybody lives in a rosy paradise. Most of us have their problems; that doesn't make life awful. We enjoy the good parts, struggle through the bad parts.
