A lot of these management types can't forecast the future any better than the rest of us. After all, what semiconductor company back in '95 forecasted the 3 year slump? None. I don't think their skills are any better now. I do have to admit, though, we are on the other side of Moore's Law versus '95 so maybe these management types will be right this time.
