Not being familar with SD, I suspect this Mount to be an area of dense broadcast towers? There has been similar comments about altitude problems in the Hong Kong market. It was attributal to the phone talking to too many sites. It sort of a reason you don't and aren't allowed to use one on an airplane. Height equates to distances, which cellphones and PCS aren't intend or design for. A little request for info, approx height of said mount; is this a area with a multitude of towers for repeaters, paging, TV, radio, etc?
