Gary,

Since you were so helpful to me earlier on another question, let me pose a couple more. One way cable modem access is presently available in our area. I will be getting it on Monday. "Two way" access is
expected to be available in about 8 months.

While I do not have the one way yet, I know it works quite well. I have seen it in operation. They advertise it is 55 times faster than current modems. I am not so sure about that but it is a lot faster.

The cost over and above a normal ISP is nominal. I will pay 35
a month rather than the 20 a month I pay now. Thus, for me anyway,
the decision to change was a "no-brainer."

Question---- Assuming a strong trend develops in which other consumers make a decision similar to mine, is this good, bad or
indifferent to Cisco? Why?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Either by Gary or others.

Regards,

Tundra
