Focus Enhancements, Inc. Introduces Web-TView Product For Home

SUDBURY, Mass., Jan. 8 -- FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. (Nasdaq: FCSE, FCSEW) (BSE: FCS, FCSW) announced
today that as part of a strategy to target a broader marketplace, the Company introduced its WebTView(TM) product for
home entertainment use at the CES & MacWorld Expo.

FOCUS' Web-TView product combines the Company's award winning TView PC-to-TV video converter with a wireless
infrared keyboard to provide a bridge between a full featured PC and a television. The Company's proprietary PC-to-TV
technology facilitates the conversion of a PC's video output to a television's video input. In doing so, Web TView enables the
home user to utilize a television set as a monitor for all computer functions, including Internet: access, entertainment, and
multi-media.

"Close to 99!t of the people who log onto the Internet on a regular basis own a PC," commented Shon Whitney, Director of
Product Marketing at FOCUS. "In fact, a PC is very important for Internet use because it provides the additional memory,
compatibility to all software, processing speed, and secure data storage necessary to surf the net quickly."

According to Whitney, "To the majority of consumers who already own a PC and a television set, our product represents an
economical solution for television centric computing."

The marketing strategy for FOCUS, home use Web-TView product is designed to broaden the Company's potential
customer base and increase visibility of its PC-to-TV technology within customer markets. FOCUS will sell Web-TView
through consumer and computer superstores, ensuring the product is noticeable to home users whether they are shopping for
a computer or a VCR. Product availability is anticipated during the second quarter of 1997.

FOCUS will continue to sell its full product line through national superstores, mail order, Original Equipment Manufacturers,
and regional resellers. Proposed markets for the Company's proprietary PC-to-TV conversion chip, recently obtained
through the acquisition of TView, Inc., also include television and PC manufacturers as well as VGA chip and Set-top Box
developers.

FOCUS Enhancements, Inc. is an industry leader in the development and marketing of proprietary multimedia video graphics
and networking products for the rapidly converging, multi-billion dollar computer and television industries. The Company's
products, which are sold through Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and resellers, merge PC's and TV's for a wide
range of uses.

Forward looking statements in this release are made pursuant to the "safe harbor" provisions of the Private Securities
Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Investors are cautioned that such forward looking statements involve risks and uncertainties,
including, without limitation, continued acceptance of the Company's products, increased levels of competition for the

Exchange Commission.
