Doug, I don't remember which race or the horse's name. I do remember it was the #6 horse and that Ken Tohill was the jockey. I also remember another race where Carr pulled back the number 1 horse's head when he was about to challenge for the lead. A lot of people at the Sam Houston simulcast had the #1 horse and ol' Carr got called some dirty names. You could have heard some of them if I wasn't drowning them out with my screams of "Hang the SOB." As the bookies say, they would rather book Wrestlemania than Bay Meadows. It's more honest. <G> I still think Bay and Golden Gate take a back seat to the Louisiana track. The real bet is not the races. It is the pool for how many jockeys "fall" off the favorites every week. <G>

If you have a tech stock you really like, it would be fine to hedge IBM with the other co's calls. But the 90/10 already gives you the protection you need, so you don't have to look for a hedge. You may miss the upside, but you won't lose a lot of money and you will stay in the game until you get one that is a homerun.

Mug's is great root beer, but, otherwise, they are to be avoided. <G>
This Xmas looks like the hype machine is blasting full time, so tread softly on puts is my recommendation for the near term.
