Gary, I think it might be a "Santa Barbara" word. Was at a customer there the other day and I swear that "orthogonal" as used 10 times in an hour. At $5B, NOVL does seem expensive. But it would seem that part of LU's strategy to compete with CSCO would have to include learning how to fit software into their "big iron" picture (not necessarily an argument supporting my idle speculation about NOVL).
