My guess is that the upswing in PC and Server sales that Intel is seeing is due in part to this Y2K upgrade cycle.

The scenario where Wall Street plummets due to Y2K concerns is probably predicted by many. Since these wide spread predictions are well known, my guess is that the DROP won't happen.

Of course, the market could tank for altogether DIFFERENT reasons.
