I have read posts where people who claim they are short xyz say that xyz is a "fraud". The "f" term can have many meanings. I prefer to analyze things in terms of valuation, time, and other factors. Is Microsoft a good stock or a bad stock - actually, neither. It is the behavior of investors who then attribute things to the stock based on what the stock does AFTER they have place their bets that plays a big part in what they feel about the stock and underlying company. All part of why investing is part art, part science.
