Responding to a November 4 article by a Stockwatch business reporter, Peter Grandich expresses his gratitude to Stockwatch "for pointing out that our disclosure statement did not note our compensation from Unitec." According to Mr. Grandich, he always discusses any additions or deletions to his disclaimer with Berwick Management, the company responsible for maintaining his website and e-mail database. "My disclosure is as important to the reader as it is to me," Mr. Grandich states. In this case, he notes, "there was some miscommunication and Unitec was left out of my latest disclaimer update." Mr. Grandich contacted Berwick and the disclaimer has been changed to include the compensation from Unitec which stands at $2,000.00 per month and 150,000 options at 47 cents.
Commenting on the numerous spelling mistakes in his Unitec message, Mr. Grandich acknowledges that an assistant would normally check the grammar and sentence structure of his communications. "It has been widely noted and reported in media interviews that I did not finish High School. It's obvious I didn't pay attention in English class as well," he candidly observes. The "severe decline in the resource sector" has apparently made it necessary for Mr. Grandich to forgo an assistant.
Mr. Grandich also disclosed that a medical condition, which he prefers to keep private, has prevented him from scheduling any speaking engagements until at least next April.
