Josef, wires are a pain! You should see the jumble of cables under my desk. Two computers linked, with a flash new geostationary downlink, printers, scanner, speakers and junk. Power cables are not going away any time soon, but fixed 2 Mb/second is not far away. Which servers send data faster than that? Not Silicon Investor. I'm prepared to pay peanuts but I can't get 100Mbs for it! At present, my best bet seems to be move house to an optical fibre link or wait for QUALCOMM's WLL to hit town. Meanwhile, my satellite dish has groaned into gear and things are not so slow now. 1000Mbs? Huh? Where do you put that? My head can't even see that much data let alone record it. What do you do with 1000Mbs. 4 seconds and my hard disk would be full [if it didn't already have stuff on it]. The screen would be like a fast forward movie, finished in a few seconds. Hard to watch let alone follow the dialogue. I suppose 3D movies viewed on Sony's someday to be developed dual image headset will gobble a lot of Mbs. Mqurice
