Chart reading time. CUBE's 200 day moving average is below 42. It's 50 DMA is above 41, and has stopped declining. Support at 35 is very strong now. A move above 41, intraday, could quickly take us back to 45. Resistance on the upside is the 41-42 range. Big support at 35.

FredE said that CUBE management is really buttonned down prior to this earnings report. I take from this that they have a surprise coming.
The street concesus is 103M revenue and earnings of $.44. They made $.41 last Q and gave the DiviCom employees a bounse that knocked earnings down over $.03. In other words, they made $.44 last Q.

When I do the numbers, and I have to admit, I use a lot of old data and I have to make assumptions; I get 110M revenue.

Another positive for earnings per share is the price that CUBE closed at on Dec. 31. Accounting requires that all of the In the money options awarded to management and founders be included in the share count. With the low price, I would expect fewer shares counted this Q.

Burke said in the Oct. conference call that this Q's share count would be between 39 and 39.5M. I think 39 or lower.

If Cube held its margins, that means $.50 a share. David has said no blow-out this month, but management has not warned that they would not meet expectations. I think the end of Dec. sales were stronger than expected. Cube may not have a choice about delaying some revenue for next Q. They may have been doing this from the begginning of the Summer.

All, in all, I'm thinking $.48 - $.50 this Q.
