Kathy, I looked at the semi equip group stock prices briefly and it looks like the big guys, like AMAT, KLAC and NVLS have been coming back well, but not UTEK so much. I would wonder if there is anything fundamentally wrong with them. 1999 might bring their turnaround, as you hope. The chip companies are going to their next major technology step, 0.18 micron technology (have been at 0.25), next year. That brings a new wave of equipment requirements and spending by Intel, TI, IBM, Motorola and anyone else that wants to keep up WRT chip speed, functionality and density. I guess I would see if UTEK should be participating in 0.25 micron.

Good for you on your overall stock market and S&P investments. Mine are doing well also, as they should, good old US stock market!
