Tcl/TK was meant to access X/Window code. Perl, meant to work on UNIX. you know, Win NT use to run on the old Apple (high speed CPU) system a few years back (can't remember the name of that gee-wiz super fast CPU at the time). But certainly, that was an inferior combination. Might as well dive my Porsche with Hyundai tires.<G> joe
