Enam,

"WAVX propietary platform will be an obstacle for them as developers want very much to work on an open standard"

Their technology is only proprietory in the sense that they hold the patents to the hardware design, and more specifically for the microtransaction/content metering functionality. They are licensing for "free" the technology to all the OEM's to incorporate into their designs as they see fit, hence all the links to HP,Sun,SMSC,ITE,Intel,IBM and (probably) more. The hardware is accessible to the common software platforms i.e. Java,Unix,VBA/Windows - there are numerous referrals to such compatibility

The EMBASSY chip and security functionality is the "vehicle" or strategy to obtain widespread deployment. The money is in the metering. A similar strategy is followed by the mobile phone industry. The handsets are "given away" at much less than their intrinsic value, in order to win lots of customers to whom profitable services could be sold.

I agree serious revenue is probably 2 years away, and it is an all or nothing play, but essentially they could create a monopoly....my money is on that it will be big.

Cheers
