Although there is rationale for being more than a touch skeptical, given some of the turns of events that have taken place around WRN, the suggestion that there has not been a legitimate attempt to "make" this company, is lacking in the beef department as well. This has by no means been nothing more than a pump and dump. Alamo is a real revenue generating company, as is Taylor. There is no question that the focus has been to go for the brass ring and thus far it has been missed. However, the base for a real company has been built along the way, as well. That in itself sets them apart from many of the plays you generically refer to as "pump an dump".
It is also about time that the Warren issue was finally put to rest. That was some time ago and although I have no doubt whatsoever, that his following had an impact on the run to the moon, he was NOT the only major factor in that surge. And a lot has happened since the last time Warren was having "any" significant impact. As for the reason for Warren's not taking part in the thread any longer, you're reasoning there is off base as well. Warren and the forces that be, within the company, had more than a little bit of a falling out, that combined with the basic abuse, that he was receiving here on the thread, are why he is no longer active. Warren is not following WRN as intensely as he once did, but do not be fooled, he still follows. Periodic commentary shows up from Warren on the "Stockman's Forum" and has still shown up periodically in his T.O.E.S. newsletter. It is NOT his priority any longer, but he is still out there.
You seem to equate your entry into WRN, with Warren's Promo and yet he was no longer a major central figure in this play by the time you indicate that you got in, a year and a half ago, explanation??
You also suggest that the insider's have been doing enough selling for it to matter, yet I have not seen any indication of a significant sell-off by the insider's, now I admit I don't check the Insider Activity report at the BCSC site as often as maybe I should, but I do periodically check. With the number of other people around this thread I would be surprised if there has been some massive selloff and no one noticed.
I am NOT in any way shape or form trying to convince anyone to buy or sell, just sharing what I know about what has and is, going on. It would be much appreciated if you would share some substantiating information with us, if you are going to take part in the thread. I viewed your portfolio and you are a very infrequent poster in general and have never bothered to offer anything on this thread before, may I ask why and/or why now?
