Any opinion how big the earnings share of the apple store-in-store business is. Or is it only that CPU receives some royalties for the apple venture?

As for the dominance of Intel based machines, my guess is that CPU is not that dependent on selling apples.

This is not to say that Macs were horrible machines. However is - CPU is a discounter and therefore will concentrate on low-cost, no hazzle business.

Street talk in Europe is that Apple is not doing so well as purported and the IMac story is well exaggerated.
