I want this to be an open forum where no questions is considered stupid and where no egos are present. Well, in that case... Is there a technical definition of "day trader" other than someone who buys & sells in the same day? What does it mean to go short? As you can tell, I am short on knowledge as well as time, energy, and cash. So I will just follow along here and see if I can learn enough to do myself some good when I get some cash freed up. Thanks for the thread. Dave D
