The sheer stimulation is hardly depressing, although the level to which I see some have allowed themselves to be mislead is, albeit only temporarily, depressing.
You, on the other hand, have been due cause for me to reconsider my own positions on a number of occasions. Those moments, minutes, even hours of review of one's level of reason on any topic are valuable.
