Patrick, it is expected that you will at least do your homework...[snip]...AMD is still in the foil flipping stage. We still know hardly anything about it.

Really. The K7 design was just made public a couple of weeks ago. Maybe YOU should do YOUR homework. I assume that if you've been flipping foil instead of flipping burgers, as you say, that you may have a useful thing or two to say on the design.

My personal opinions:

1) Xeon: A Pentium Pro with mmx
2) Katmai: Intel's version of 3dNOW
