Right on brother. You hit the nail on the head. Clinton has a
screwed up personal life, but the average Joe would elect him again
for another four years because he has been a very good president
(overall). There was a great post-election rally in 1996 and it
is now reoccuring simultaneous with our strong hand with Israel
and the Palestinians, 90 Billion for the IMF, two interest rate
cuts (long over due and due for another .25 to .50 basis points),
a balanced budget, potential tax cuts, ongoing low inflation,
the Japanese starting to let bad banks go under, and nutso Republicans
(the Southern Baptist Party) not gaining absolute control of the
legislative branch of government.
Now if we could just get the earnings up some and lower these
historically high PEs, I would be in heaven................
