Hi Dwight I don't know about Mr. Greenspans ability or non to control what is happening to fast to control completely. Last night I lost power for a couple of hours that ended my oven and my supper..I fumbled through the dark trying to find a flash light, I found one then the world began with out technology. Well nothing worked as everything was electrically ignited tho my kitchen is a combination of gas and electric appliances. Then I thought humourously gees someone is testing to see if this area is Y2k complaint ,.sheesh it is not. Next I called the dept of water an power as the phone was working it was just my minute area out of power the rest of the world was on. My son was elated I had fish in the oven he walked in with his friends. He offered to get dinner, three pastrami sandwiches and one chili dog two frys, thirty bucks no change. Inflation benign no 5.50 for pastrami was now 7.50. Guess what mom no drinks. Most of my appliances are blinking at me this morning my clocks don't work my watch does. My coffee maker is giving me grief. Then I thought technology and Mr Greenspan .i don't envy him at all. Thank god the fireplace burns wood and my son was a boy scout.
