The Johnny's who can't add and the Roger's who can't multiply! Interview in Barron's with Roger McNamee, who is often more WRONG than WRONG! Jim Screamer!!! Q: Processing power is more plentiful than bandwidth right now. McNamee: There's an enormous number of investors who don't focus on technology full-time, but who own a lot of tech stocks. And they're faced with this issue, the rise of the sub-$1,000 PC, and the fact that corporate networks are so strategic that customers don't want to buy the latest and greatest technology -- they want to make sure the network operates 24 by seven by 365. Roger, It takes more logic than you have to talk numbers: 24 by 7 by 365 is miscalculation due to redundancy. Even David Lawrence (who couldn't count properly to 6,000,000 and missed the trophy due to slow trigger finger despite his hailing from Texas) knows it's 24 by 7 by 52!!!
